Laundry and Mail Carts

Mesh, canvas, vinyl and polyethylene are all common materials a mobile laundry or mail cart can be fabricated out of. These quality materials provide for quality trucks and baskets which can be ubiquitous in laundries, hospitals, textile mills, garment plants and the hospitality industry. Ranging with many different designs, by searching through the various options that all the manufacturers have to offer, you can be sure to find a cart that will be picture-perfect for your needs. For us, having strong relationships with several of these manufacturers gives us the opportunity of sourcing the best products at the best prices for our customers. These carts are designed to increase productivity, efficiency and safety for your employees moving items throughout your offices. Not to mention the increased level of convenience you receive when you have a cart that fits your needs perfectly for your laundry or mail operations.

No matter the type of basket or cart you are rolling through your laundry and mail rooms, it is important that these carts roll quietly, smoothly and easily throughout your facilities. We want to make sure that you do not disrupt your colleagues working around you with loud and clunky wheels. Many of these baskets and carts last for a long time and we help make them last even longer by providing maintenance and replacements on the casters.

One common recommendation made for replacement casters on these carts is a 4” x 1-1/4” Polyurethane on Polyolefin caster with ball bearings and thread guards. These top plate casters match up perfectly with the bolthole pattern drilled in the bottom of the cart frame making it easy to replace a broken caster without any extra labor or alterations required. The ball bearings in the wheel provide a smooth and quiet roll and do not require any grease to be maintained as they are used over time. The thread guard on the wheel hub keeps debris such as hair, string and threads from building up around the bearing and axle which can cause the wheel to bind or jam. These are a fantastic replacement for these types of carts but are not the only recommendation. Ask your local specialist if you seek an alternative replacement.
